Sometimes the best moments in life can begin with something as simple as a hair-flip and a hello. What started out as a typical Friday night quickly turned into a night that we will never forget. We were each spending a night out with our friends dancing, having a good time, when from across the dance floor we caught eyes. At that moment I knew love at first sight was not only reserved for the movies. I immediately told my friends about a cute guy on the other side of the room. He couldn’t help but stare, and right then he began to walk towards me. As he passed by we once again caught eyes I gave him my best hair flip and a hello, you know the one ladies, and said “hey” but he sadly kept waking. There was something about him as I watched him walk away I knew I would be missing out on. When he got to the door I watched him turned around and march right back over to me grabbed me by the hand and said whats your name? We talked for a few minutes and went separate ways without so much as exchanging phone numbers.
About an hour later my friends wanted to end the night with a bite to eat so we went to grab some pizza. I was pleasantly surprised to find the very same, tall, handsome man with his friends in the same restaurant. This time he did not miss his chance and asked if we could hangout the very next day. We exchanged phone numbers and now here we are…two years later I am married to the man of my dreams for almost 6 months with two dogs a little house and our whole lives together have just begun. I could not be more thankful for girl’s night out and the courage it takes to say hello to a complete stranger in a bar.
