What I love about lifestyle newborn photography is the way it captures your true family life in your intimate home. Lifestyle sessions are relaxed and a unique view into your family life as you cuddle up with your new sweet baby. For lifestyle newborn sessions I come into your home for an hour – two hours and bring all the essentials to you! Your session should be natural as I capture those very sweet first days with your brand new baby. These sessions are less about posing and more about capturing the personality and essence of your family. 

 One of most asked questions I get is ways to prepare your home for the session. Great question! These sessions are ideal if you have lots of natural light. We may move things around your home or into a room with the best natural light. Light! Light! Light! We will need a clean, decluttered background which typically means tidying up the nursery or master bedroom. We will of course capture some photos of baby in his or her nursery, in the crib, cuddling in a rocking chair, loving on each other on a cozy couch. We will also capture your precious nursery. Every mother puts so much thought and heart into decorating during her pregnancy it is the perfect environment to capture your sweet new addition!
