Balmoral House Fall Wedding

A fall wedding at the Balmoral House in Fishers, IN. The soft glow of the season fell on the sweeping grounds of the Balmoral House for this early fall wedding. Twenty acres of lush landscape and rich topiaries reflected the warmth of the season for Alexis & Andrew’s wedding day.

The Balmoral House is a hidden gem wedding venue. Located on the outskirts of Indianapolis, the space formerly served as a golf course. Now, this open-air wedding venue provides spectacular views. All in all, the venue is made rich with its mahogany woodwork, impeccably landscaped grounds, and lavender fields. In fact, the bride made her entrance to the ceremony down the steps of the grand deck of the main house. In the garden below, her groom and guests awaited her arrival.

Tones of classic elegance make the Balmoral House a stunning wedding venue. One where the beauty and splendor of the natural landscape provides couples & their guests with an unforgettable wedding day experience. The combined indoor and outdoor space of the venue makes it feel intimate but with the capacity of a grand wedding. Altogether it creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere for a wedding with a guest list of cherished family members and close friends.

With the summer season not too far in the past, Alexis’s bridesmaids wore candy-colored floor-length gowns with flutter sleeves. Furthermore, Alexis wore a high-neck bridal gown with scalloped detailing and an intricately embroidered lace overlay. The back of her gown was highlighted by a deep V pattern that led to a row of fabric buttons, which were carefully secured by the bride’s mother in the bridal suite. A dramatic layered mermaid skirting created a chic wedding day look for my elegant bride.

After an emotional first look, Alexis and Andrew were ready to meet down the aisle and be joined in marriage. Alexis made her grand entrance and was escorted the rest of the way down the aisle by her father. The couple recited heartfelt vows with their family and friends in attendance. As they were announced husband and wife, both Alexis and Andrew glowed with delight. Joined in marriage from this day forward.

As their guests undoubtedly enjoyed a delightful cocktail hour, I walked the grounds of the Balmoral House with Alexis and Andrew. The twenty acres on the grounds provided a quiet retreat where I could spend some time with my bride and groom. During our time they soaked in the tender moments of their newlywed status while I captured their glowing smiles. To see some of my favorite moments, scroll through the photos below.
