This Chatham Hills wedding was a summer celebration for Carlee and Patrick. There is something truly magical about a summer wedding in Indianapolis. The air is warm, the grass smells sweet, and the daylight stretches on for hours. Making it the perfect time to celebrate the coming together of two souls in love.
Summer evokes the carefree feeling that engulfed us as children. Harkening back to a time when school was out of session and we spent endless days running around our backyards. It comes as no surprise, then, that couples often select summer as their preferred season for saying I do. It allows them the space for a long night of celebration with the friends and family members they hold most dear.
However, determining where to host that celebration is often where most couples spend the bulk of their time during the wedding planning process. Should it be an outdoor ceremony with an indoor celebration? Or should it be a night spent dancing under the stars illuminating the sky brighter than you ever could’ve imagined?
For Carlee and Patrick, their choice was clear. A Chatham Hills wedding with an outdoor wedding ceremony and an indoor celebration was the perfect setting for the beginning of their marriage. Located just outside of Indianapolis, in Westfield, IN, Chatham Hills is a country club and wedding venue offering expansive views in a tranquil setting. The lush landscape offered at Chatham Hills proved to be the most ideal setting for Carlee and Patrick to plan their once-in-a-lifetime wedding day.
A Summer Wedding at Chatham Hills
All in all, Chatham Hills wedding ceremonies take place on the grand lawn. Providing an atmosphere of elegance where the sweet smell of summer air rolls through your sacred wedding vows. Carlee and Patrick said I do with a wedding ceremony centered around a strong devotion to their faith, with everyone they know and love looking on. With their heartfelt vows sealed, Carlee and Patrick were joined together as husband and wife. From there, I worked with them and their wedding party on wedding day portraits among the grounds of Chatham Hills.
Their wedding party was dressed for the day in soft tones of creamy pink and striking navy blue. Consequently enhancing the natural backdrop of the venue and tying together the summer wedding that Carlee and Patrick meticulously planned. As their wedding party exited to join the bride and groom’s guests, it was time for the bride and groom to soak up their first few moments together as newlyweds. Oftentimes, a wedding day timeline can be rather tight. Leaving this exact moment to be one of the first when a couple can enjoy one another’s presence. Allowing themselves to be fully engulfed in the moment.
Having enjoyed their personal time together, a wedding celebration at the Chatham Hills ballroom awaited. The night was filled with heart felt speeches, a delectable dinner service, and special first dances that warmed hearts.
