ihotel Summer Wedding
I had the pleasure of photographing Courtney and Jessica’s summer wedding as an associate photographer for my friend Rebekah Albaugh. As an associate photographer I document weddings as the lead photographer under Rebekah’s brand with Holly Birch as my second shooter. We started the day in the suites at the ihotel conference center and headed to the lobby for the couples first look. They exchanged cards and gifts and next we traveled to the University of Illinois Arboretum for photos of the couple and their bridal party.
The couples wedding happen to fall on Pride weekend in Champaign and while we were taking photos the Pride parade was going through town. We took the girls right into the middle of the parade and took pictures while people cheered, cried and marched all around them. It was such a special and emotional moment.
We headed back to the ihotel ballroom in Champaign for their ceremony and reception. They had a stunning cake, Courtney’s sweet dad cried like a baby during their dance and a sparkler exit. It was the perfect day and these two were surrounding by family and friends who were just so excited to celebrate Courtney and Jessica’s new marriage.
