This Indianapolis Artsgarden wedding was crisp, modern, and so much fun. Anna and Eric’s fall wedding was a true reflection of the joyful life they share. Including the people who surround them, and the love they’ve cultivated. They spent the night of their wedding hitting the dance floor and celebrating their union to the tune of ‘(dancing in) September.’ All in all, Anna and Erica are truly each other’s best friends
This loving couple shared with me that their proposal story took place in Sedona. A picturesque location known for its red rock formations, beautiful hiking trails, and breathtaking views from the top. During their trip to Sedona, Anna and Eric (who are outdoorsy adventurers at heart) hit the rocky terrain to enjoy the trails. All the while, Eric had a plan up his sleeve. With the sun hanging overhead and scenic views surrounding them, Eric asked Anna for her hand in marriage.
The intimate, heartfelt moment sealed their journey together and was attended by their sweet furbaby, Winnie. In fact, Winnie was also a beloved guest on the day of their Indianapolis Artsgarden wedding. She spent getting ready moments with Anna in the bridal suite. Joined the wedding party for portraits at the Indiana War Memorial and hit the dance floor during the reception. In essence, she spent the day as an honorary member of their wedding party

Along with having Winnie in attendance, Anna and Eric’s approach to planning their wedding included modern details. Their overall vision was to plan a wedding day that exuded elegance and simplicity. This was achieved through their attire selections and design choices. They also used a color palette that incorporated nuances such as creamy white florals and hues of muted pine throughout.
Located in downtown Indianapolis, the Artsgarden is a wedding venue known for its prime location with 360-degree views overlooking the city, along with its sleek glass facade. In fact, the Indianapolis Artsgarden was voted one of the top ‘coolest places to get married in America’ by Buzzfeed. The sophisticated venue is teeming with natural light during the day. However, at nightfall, it transforms into a premier celebratory reception venue. The reception space features a glass balcony and a stone stairway. Allowing you to make a grand entrance as your guests wait below. Additionally, the floor space at the Artsgarden provides room for curating the layout of your reception. This includes unique seating configurations to fit the vision you have in mind for your wedding day.
I adore this space for the experience it provides for couples getting married in Indianapolis. But, above all, for the photography experience I am able to provide my couples at such an exquisite location. In fact, as Anna and Eric’s wedding day unfolded, I was able to discern the exact moments the light began to shift. This allowed me to provide Anna and Eric with a wedding photography experience from every perspective of their stunning venue.
