An elegant summer wedding at the Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion in Carmel IN. Kinzie & Jack’s wedding at the Ritz Charles was utter perfection. With a ceremony in the chapel and a wedding reception celebration in the Garden Pavillion, the details were altogether unforgettable. But, above all, Kinzie and Jack’s love is pure and true.

The details of Kinzie and Jack’s elegant summer wedding at the Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion were filled with soft tones of watercolor blue, paired with refined gold elements. The pairing of the color palette and the detailed elements evoked the feeling of a picnic in the countryside. Undoubtedly curating a romantic wedding day celebration. The bride and groom were married during the late summer. A time when the air gets crisp as the sun goes down. But the day is filled with just enough sunlight to lavish you with the sweet feeling of a lazy summer day.

Kinzie’s gorgeous, sleek, off-the-shoulder wedding dress was lined with rows of buttons down the back. In her getting-ready suite, the bride’s mom had the honor of fastening her gown and affixing her veil. Kinzie’s wedding party was not present as she put the finishing touches on her wedding day look, for one very specific reason. Once she was ready for the day, she was off to meet her bridesmaids in the Chapel of the Ritz Charles for a first look. The sweet bride walked down the aisle, with her bountiful bouquet in hand, to surprise her bridesmaids. The delightful moment was an eruption of joyful smiles. There were even a few happy tears as the bridesmaids prepared to watch Kinzie and Jack join in marriage.

I worked with Jack and his groomsmen prior to the wedding ceremony as well. It was a final moment for them to wish the groom well before he was off to the wedding chapel to marry his beautiful bride.

The wedding chapel at the Ritz Charles is a gorgeous, crisp space, filled with light that features hardwood floors. For Kinize and Jack’s wedding ceremony a deconstructed arch made of watercolor blue flowers and creamy white roses stood tall on the altar. Rows of neatly lined white chiavari chairs filled the ceremony space. Here, guests took their seats to honor the bride and groom with their presence. In particular, a row of reserved seating awaited the adorable flower girls. Personalized tags were fixed to the back of the girl’s chairs with silk ribbons to hold their special place in the front row.

With Kinzie and Jack’s sacred vows of marriage recited, the couple was announced to their friends and family as husband and wife. A vibrant wedding ceremony exit awaited the couple as their guests rang bells and waved ribbon wands in their honor. Altogether, it was a moment of their wedding day that was an eruption of energetic celebration.

An Elegant Summer Wedding at the Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion

Because Kinzie and Jack decided to forgo a first look at the start of their wedding day, it was now time to work with the newlyweds and their wedding party on their portraiture. Those moments, where their wedding party was filled with so much happiness for the newlyweds, produced imagery in front of the Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion filled with elation. With the wedding party fully captured, I turned my attention to Kinzie and Jack. This adoring couple was so comfortable in each other’s arms in front of the camera. Jack dipped Kinzie while going in for a kiss. Later, he lifted her high off the ground as her veil trailed off in the distance. They wear their hearts on their sleeve and, at first glance, it’s evident how deep their love runs.

A flawlessly planned wedding reception celebration awaited Kinzie and Jack at the Ritz Charles Garden Pavillion. Creamy white florals in gold vases lined the guest’s tables and their deconstructed ceremony arch was moved from the chapel to behind their head table. The ceiling of the garden pavilion was draped with soft white fabric and ornate chandeliers hung high above the couple’s guests. Additionally, Kinzie and Jack had a custom flower wall created to hang in their wedding reception space. With a Mr and Mrs neon sign hanging from the wall, it was a wonderful break-out space for guests to use as a photo wall.
