As a wedding venue, The Club at Chatham Hills provides an unparalleled experience. You’ll also find the venue has a lush landscape with picturesque backdrops. Thus setting the stage for a memorable wedding photography experience.
I had an inkling, a knowing, that when wedding day arrived, my bride would be absolutely stunning. She was every bit the classic beauty with a mermaid silhouette off-the-shoulder bridal gown, covered in lace. Her gown was heavy on the romance. And with her loose tendrils gently tucked away at the nape of her neck and glittering chandelier earrings, she was truly stunning.
Before Riley and JD tied the knot with a beautiful church ceremony, they opted to have a first touch. My bride and groom decided they wanted to keep things a bit more traditional. To that end, they decided to see each other for the first time on their wedding day, at the altar. So, once they were both dressed for the day, I set them up on either side of a brick wall inside their house of worship. They held hands around the wall and took a moment to read private vows to each other. More and more, couples are finding ways to include intimate moments on their wedding day. Having a first touch is a remarkable way to include some private time before your ceremony. Undoubtedly, it also creates breathtaking portraits of the last few moments before you are joined in marriage.

With guests seated in long rows of church pews, Riley and JD were pronounced husband and wife. A round of celebratory cheers and clapping filled the air as my bride and groom made their way down the aisle. With the ceremony behind us, it was now time to focus on getting the bride and groom to Chatham Hills Wedding Venue for a night of celebration.
However, with the sun peeking through the towering trees on the grounds of the venue, the first item on our list was portraits. Riley and JD’s wedding party was fully on board for creating some fun group shots. They filled the grounds of the venue with cheer and laughter as JD hoisted his bride into the air. Once the wedding party was off to cocktail hour I continued to work with my bride and groom. The grounds at the venue of Chatham Hills were in full bloom on the day of the wedding. There was lush greenery and delicate flowers all around us. With a stunning bride and a glowing groom, I created a combination of shots & poses for a well-rounded selection of wedding day portraits.
